A Meaningful Journey Back to Africa
I recently returned to Africa for the first time in 13 years—a homecoming that was both emotional and profoundly meaningful. Having left my home country at the age of nine, stepping back onto familiar soil felt surreal and deeply fulfilling.
One of the most powerful parts of the trip was reconnecting with local children. Sharing my passion for soccer and spending time teaching and playing with them was more than just fun—it was a full-circle moment. Giving back to the community that shaped who I am today was an experience I’ll never forget.
